“I LOVE DESIGNING JEWELLERY THAT IS WORN, AND THE IDEA THAT IT CAN BE PASSED DOWN. ATTRACTING AND ATTRACTED TO PASSIONATE, DETERMINED WOMEN, BECOMING A PART OF EACH GENERATION’S DAILY LIFE. IT FEELS LIKE A LIVING THING”
- AISHLEEN LESTER, FOUNDER AND DESIGNER
STORYTELLER THROUGH DESIGN
With a background in fine art, Aishleen Lester is developing a reputation for her exquisite fine jewellery. Identified by the industry as an emerging designer to watch with her miniature explosions of colour and light, transitioning from delicate to bold in an instant.
Originally a sculptor with a Masters from The Royal Academy, Aishleen became well known for her large scale sculptural installations, stage set commissions, and window displays for Selfridges. As a fine artist, Aishleen worked with the Riflemaker and Nyehaus galleries, exhibiting in both London and New York, and sought by private collectors.
Aishleen’s transformation into fine jeweller and businesswoman has been a natural evolution. Initially experimenting with different materials for her large scale work, she quickly became interested in scaling down her designs to create miniature sculptures for the everyday.

FROM SCULPTOR TO FINE JEWELLER
Aishleen built up her jewellery industry credentials by training with Shaun Leane and Paul Ravn before launching her own fine jewellery brand Le Ster in 2017.
Whilst the jewellery has evolved from the sculptures she was making, they are as covetable; described by journalist Rachael Taylor as “perfectly embodying the zeitgeist in contemporary jewellery” with precious, wearable jewels which can be scaled up or down.
“FINE JEWELLERY GAVE ME A WAY TO MAKE MINIATURE SCULPTURES WITH STORIES TO TELL, THAT PEOPLE CAN WEAR ALL DAY, EVERY DAY”
