IDEAS TAKING SHAPE

This is where the magic begins. Shaping your vision and inspirations into an intimate collection of drawings.

Deciding on your stone from unusual cuts to high-quality, ethically sourced gems, reflecting the tone and spirit of your design will make you feel excited.

Once we have finalised your unique design, a small group of skilled craftspeople begin their work, blending sculptural techniques often found in art with traditional jewellery making skills.

You’ll receive behind-the-scenes updates as your piece comes together, so you can stay close to each step of its making.

I’m Aishleen Lester


And I love hearing your stories.

It’s what drew me to jewellery in the first place. The chance to create miniature sculptures you can wear, not hang in a gallery. Something meaningful, visible and alive.

I originally trained and worked as an artist, completing my Master’s at the Royal Academy. I went on to create large-scale installations shown in London and New York. Beautiful, idealistic, and an absolute nightmare to transport.

Years of working with materials, form and imagery have shaped how I bring ideas to life, whether literal or abstract. That foundation lets me collaborate closely with you to create pieces that feel deeply personal and often surprising.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Don’t worry, that’s what I’m here for. We’ll have a relaxed chat about your partner and what’s special to you both. You don’t need to prepare anything, just talking it through often sparks ideas. From there, I’ll create three to five loose sketches to give us a sense of direction, and together we’ll refine the one that feels right for you.

Yes, absolutely! Designs often evolve, and that’s part of the fun. I want you to feel confident and excited about your engagement ring, and have plenty of space to make sure it feels perfect.

Yes, definitely. Choosing the stone is one of the most exciting parts. Unlike diamonds, gemstones can vary so much in colour and tone, which makes finding the right one a very personal decision. We’ll look at a selection within your budget (either on video or in person), exploring different cuts, colours, and tones until we discover the stone that feels just right for your design.

A custom design usually takes six to eight weeks, but if you have a special date in mind for your proposal, let me know. I’ll do everything I can to make sure the ring is ready for that moment.

Don’t worry, there are lots of ways to find out your partner’s ring size, and I’ll guide you through them when we chat. And if it’s not quite perfect the first time, one complimentary resizing is always included in the bespoke process.
